Materials:

Coarse clay with an alluring blue tint is used, a mixture of high-grade white porcelain clay and kaolin clay personally sourced from the Sancheong region of Gyeongsangnam-do. Lead and cadmium tested (none detected).

푸른 톤이 매력적인 거친 흙을 사용합니다.  등급이 높은 백자토와 직접 수배한 경남 산청 카오린(Kaolin)을 배합한 흑입니다.  납, 카드뮴 검사를 마쳤습니다(비검출).

Process: 100% Handmade

Care:

Care identical to general pottery. Avoid exposure to sudden temperature changes to prevent breaking.  Dishwasher safe for home use, although hand washing is recommended to maintain the natural shine of pottery.

관리가 일반 도자기와 다르지 않습니다.  급격한 온도차가 생기지 않도록 하면 깨질 염려가 덜합니다.  식기세척기는 가정용은 괜찮지만 빛의 유지를 위해 손 세척을 하시는 것을 권장합니다.

The Joseon white porcelain, Korea’s aesthetic signature, comes to us as HAEINYO, reinterpreted to fit the needs and sentiments of today.

The artist presents the pristine and beautifully modest white porcelain sets available in 4 motifs, inspired by the spring, summer, autumn, and winter of Korea. Under MAEHWA, NUBI, HWAHYEONG, and GAKMYEON, each set will offer a different kind of elegance befitting the seasons.

Hwahyeong. Meaning “flower-shaped,” this design has been widely loved since the Goryeo Dynasty for body shapes resembling flower petals.  The line’s femininity and voluminous aura are exquisite.
